Spiegel Grove
As you explore the Spiegel Grove, you'll be immersed in a surreal underwater landscape teeming with marine life. The wreck has become a thriving ecosystem, hosting an incredible diversity of marine species, including colorful corals, sponges, and schools of fish. Divers often encounter barracuda, jacks, and groupers lazily patrolling the ship's massive structure.
One of the most iconic features of the Spiegel Grove is the impressive superstructure, which rises from the seafloor to a depth of around 60 feet (18 meters). This towering structure offers excellent penetration opportunities for more experienced divers, allowing them to explore the inner workings of the ship, including its intricate hallways, stairwells, and cargo holds.

This massive ship, once a United States Navy Landing Ship Dock (LSD-32), was intentionally sunk on June 10, 2002, to create an artificial reef and diving attraction like no other.
